Iedereen Feest Calendar

I had the great privilege to illustrate and design Orbit’s 2019 calendar. Each month a religious holiday is featured, from Makar Sankranti to Rosh Hashana.
Every major religion is included and background information is given for most major holidays. I learned so much while making it, and will never run out a reason to celebrate any more.

Obon is a Shinto holiday, commemorating the dead. Lanterns are used to guide the spirits back to their world.
On Vasaiki, Sikhs commemorate the dedication of the Five Chosen ones, who were willing to die for Guru Gobindh.
Rosh Hashana. The sound of shofar, made of a ram’s horn, announces the jewish new year.
